Pruning Definition:
CC - Crown Clean / Removal of dead, dying, diseased, crossed, crowned, and weakly attached limbs from a tree. Diameter and amount of wood removed is appropriate to size, species, and age.
CT - Crown Thin / Selective removal of limbs to increase light and air in the Tree 's canopy, and to reduce wind-sail.
RB - Crown Raise & Balance / Underpruning to increase ground clearance.
C-RED - Crown Reduction / Cutting back to appropriate laterals to reduce the height or width of a tree. Also called "Drop Crotch" Pruning it is the proper alternative to topping, an obsolete and ruinous
C-REST - Crown Restoration / Imporoving the strucure of topped Trees.
HDW - Heavy Deadwood / Diameter and amount of wood removed is appropriate to size, species, and age.
FDW - Fine Deadwood /
CP - Corrective / Training young tree for good form and structure.
CLR - Clearance Pruning / Heading back or removing limbs to increase clearance from building, wires, lights, ect.
Surgery Definitions:
CAB - Cabling / Installation of steel cables to reinforce weak crotches.
TB - Tree Bracing / Installation of bolts or screw to repair split crotches
Tree Removal Definitions:
TR - Tree Removal / Removal of all wood big & small, leaves and saw dust cleaned up
LBW - Leave Big Wood / Leave all big wood cut 18 - 20" rounds.
LAW - Leave All Wood / Leave all big wood, limbs, branches, leaves & saw dust.
LC - Light Clean Up / After tree removal, all wood will be removed saw dust & leaves will be swept off of driveway, street & sidewalks and into yard.
Stump Grinding Definitions:
SG - Stump Grinding / stumps are ground 3-8" below grade unless otherwise specified. Grindings are mounded.
G & H - Grind & Haul / Debris levelto grade. Stumps are ground 3-8" below grade unless otherwise specified
GR - Girding Root Excision / Removal of trunk -encircling roots to relieve vascular constriction.
